Josh Froelich

 

Josh Froelich graduated from the premier petroleum engineering school in the country, Texas A&M University.  He is currently the Director of Reservoir Engineering at a medium sized independent oil and gas operator and has held several other leadership roles in the company from Operations Director to Director of Development, Planning and Technology.  These experiences range from overseeing the field office ensuring operations run smoothly to managing a divisions annual budget and technology initiatives.  Most people don’t realize that all investment decisions and analysis are primarily made from reservoir engineers in oil and gas companies.  This gives Josh a great perspective when looking at future investments in real estate as the analysis is very similar.  He has also led the entire company’s budget process for several years, setting capital, production and LOE targets for the upcoming year (usually approximately $2 Billion in capital spend). 

His experience with HSE, operations, project economic analysis, planning, strategy and managing large budgets has been invaluable in the apartment screening process and will be even more so when we have a property under management.
